The Role
As a Conversation Designer, you design the “personality” and brain of our AI agents. You turn complex processes into simple, human conversations that feel natural, helpful, and even a bit fun. You’ll map out dialogue flows, write clear and engaging messages, and think through all the “what if” moments so users always feel understood and guided.
You sit between UX, language, and tech: you understand what users need, what the business wants to achieve, and how the underlying AI works – then you turn that into smart, scalable conversations that just work.

Key responsibilities
Design & UX Strategy: Design and propose conversation solutions (modules) and UX‑oriented flows for new and existing use cases.
Implementation & Prompt Engineering: Configure conversations by prompt engineering and reuse of existing modules.
Data Analysis & Maintenance: Analyse logs and data to find issues and opportunities; support debugging and post‑live care.
Quality Assurance: Guard quality through testing and review of flows, prompts, and configs.
Architecture & Innovation: Contribute to conversation architecture, reusable components, and product/UX improvements.
Knowledge Sharing: Support colleagues and provide training to internal teams or partners on conversational mechanics and best practices.

Key skills
Conversation & UX: Clear, natural dialogue design; strong writing for prompts and messages.
Prompt & Technical: Knowledge of prompt engineering; some programming / logical reasoning; comfortable with configs and logs.
Analysis & QA: Able to interpret conversation data, define tests, and assess quality.
Communication: Effective English; some client‑facing or stakeholder‑facing experience.
Ways of Working: Basic Agile/Jira/ticket familiarity is a plus.

Key behaviours
Proactive: Takes initiative and anticipates needs; doesn’t wait for perfect briefs.
Interested / Curious: Wants to understand users, product, config, and AI; keeps learning.
Ownership: Takes full responsibility from idea to implementation and follow‑up in production.
Creative mindset: Tries different prompts, flows, and solutions; comfortable with trial‑and‑error.
Collaborative & reliable: Shares knowledge, supports others, documents clearly, and tests thoroughly.

Key outputs
Conversation flow specs and UX copy for modules.
Prompt sets and configuration changes.
Log/analysis notes with concrete improvement proposals.
Test cases and QA reports.
Reusable patterns/templates and concise documentation (e.g., in Confluence/Jira).
